LMSWORLDWIDE T/A DARKEST STAR PRODUCITONS "Darkest Star Productions" is the brain child of husband and wife team, Lynne and Barry Steele. Barry is better known as one of the UK's premier tributes to The Big O, but behind the scenes has been his wife Lynne, she has been responsible for Barry's promotional marketing, his web site, and of course his management. As both Barry and Lynne say DSP is all about bringing the Music of Roy Orbison back to his fans and hopefully to a new generation of music lovers. Barry has always said "Roy was one of the greatest singers the world has ever known, I have to do him justice

THE Roy Orbison and Friends 75th anniversary special had The Brewhouse audience on their feet, calling for more.
Barry Steele performed to a full-house as the infamous singer, playing hits spanning over his career up until the 1980s – from the moving Crying and It's Over, to the upbeat and ever popular Pretty Woman. Steele and the talented five-piece band also performed hits from The Shadows, Ray Charles and Jerry Lew Lewis. Orbison aficionados have credited Steele as one of the most convincing tribute acts. Steele's voice and appearance were remarkably like Big O, which proved a sell-out success in Taunton. The crowd clapped, cheered and finally gave a standing ovation to show their appreciation. He not only entertained with hit after hit, but with humour, wit and a touch of audience banter. Steele, who started his career in the RAF, has toured the UK, New Zealand and Denmark in his own shows to rave reviews. He is currently touring with “The Black and White Knights” and the band entertained in their own right with solo performances. • For more information on Barry Steele as Roy Orbison and tour dates, visit http://www.royorbisontribute.com/ Having seen the great Roy, live many years ago, i was amazed at the contrast & the likeness between these gentlemen, what a fantastic evening my wife & I enjoyed at the Grand Opera House in York on Thursday evening! this gentleman not only sings like the great o looks like him, he even speaks like him.
